3 imprisoned for attacks by Islamist extremists in Barcelona in 2017

The panel of judges convicted Mohamed Houli Chemlal, a 24-year-old Spaniard who survived the blast days before the attack, and Driss Oukabir, 32 and a native of Morocco, who participated in their preparation but decided not to participate in the end, belonging to a terrorist organization and explosives production. They were also found guilty of 29 counts of mass destruction with terrorist intent.
