Anthony Edwards, meet Alex Rodriguez: Your potential future boss. Oh, and just one of the most talented, charismatic and controversial MLB players of this millennium.
While Rodriguez and e-commerce billionaire Marc Lore continue to finalize the agreement with current Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor to take over the Minnesota franchise, reporters began questioning current players about their thoughts on their potential new boss.
But Edwards, a rookie from Georgia, has no idea who Rodriguez is, because this extremely funny video shows:

Hey, at least he’s honest. And the explanation that he just doesn’t watch baseball – as if only MLB fans know Rodriguez – is pure comedy. Nor is it that Edwards doesn’t understand the sport of baseball. In the video below, he describes how talented he was as star of more athletes to play in MLB had he decided to embark on that career:
To be fair, Edwards, 19, wasn’t even born when Rodriguez began his MLB career in 1994 at the Seattle Mariners. And he was just 15 when Rodriguez last hung the sticks after the 2016 season.
Still, you’d think he would at least have heard someone who has been a 14-time All-Star pick, a triple AL MVP, a two-time Golden Glove winner and a ten-time Silver Slugger award winner, among others. And that says nothing about his controversial use of PED, which cost Rodriguez the entire 2014 season due to suspension.
Look at it this way: If Rodriguez eventually acquires ownership of the Timberwolves, Edwards will have plenty of future opportunities to learn more about his new boss.
