Australia’s largest dinosaur nicknamed “Cooper” belongs to a newly discovered species, experts say

For more than 15 years, experts from the Queensland Museum and the Eromanga Museum of Natural History, along with other paleontologists, geologists and volunteers, have been working to identify the findings and confirm that it is indeed a unique species. This involved the arduous task of excavating the fragile remains and removing the large rock in which the bones were buried.
