Berger generally received approval for 22 acres of land from West Bengal Corporation for Industrial Development, while Dhunseri Ventures, formerly known as Dhunseri Petrochem, which specializes in petrochemicals, sought 38 acres in the industrial park.

Dhunseri Group intends to invest around HRK 500 million in the Panagarh Industrial Park near the industrial city of Durgapur and has already sought land for its projects.
Paints intends to invest about 100m kuna in the production of construction chemicals and putty, sources said.
Dhunseri Ventures plans to establish a packaging material unit primarily for the food processing, cosmetics, personal care and pharmaceutical industries at an estimated 400 million kroner, they said.
Berger received approval in principle for 22 hectares of land from the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation, while Dhunseri Ventures, formerly known as Dhunseri Petrochem, which deals with petrochemicals, asked for 38 hectares in the industrial park, sources said.
The berger paint factory would be his third unit in West Bengal. The other two are located in Shibpur in Howrah County and Rishra in Hooghly County.
Berger Paints entered the construction chemicals segment in 2019 by taking over STP Ltd.
Dhunseri has a petrochemical plant in Haldija, the state, and the company is looking for land in an industrial park for its downstream project.
