The NCAA tournament we lost last season has been found – and will be different from any previous such event.
The reality of the coronavirus pandemic means that the NCAA 2021 tournament will be held in one destination – the state of Indiana – with multiple locations used and customized regular tournament schedule. The Final Four is scheduled to take place at Lucas Oil Stadium on April 3 and 5, but uncertainty will continue to reign after the regular season, which is characterized by numerous cancellations and delays during university basketball.
What is expected to remain known is the selection of the field with 68 teams, on which Joe Lunardi enters. Joey Brackets will continue to perform math and make field projections until selection Sunday, March 14th.
