A group of about 200 farmers will protest daily against the Center’s three farm laws in front of Parliament during the monsoon session, Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) announced on Sunday.
The umbrella body of over 40 farmers’ unions said at a press conference that two days before the start of the session, all members of opposition MPs would be given a “chat patra” (warning letter) to protest the law inside the House.
“We will also ask opposition lawmakers on July 17 to raise the issue every day in the House, while we sit outside in protest. We will tell them not to use the Center by leaving the session. Don’t let the session last until the government deals. this issue, “said farmer leader Balbir Singh Rajewal.

The monsoon session of the parliament should start on July 19.

He added that five people from each farmers’ union would join the protest.
SKM also called for a national protest on July 8th against rising gasoline, diesel and LPG prices.
People were asked to get out and park their vehicles along state and state highways from 10 a.m. to noon.
“Whatever vehicle you have, tractor, wheelchair, car, scooter, just drive it to the nearest state or national highway and park there. But don’t create traffic jams,” Rajewal said.
He also asked for LPG bottles to be brought to the protest.
