Sensex and Nifty would probably open lower today as Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange fell 46 points to 15,268. On Tuesday, reference indices gave vent to the two-month rally, despite strong global signals and a drop in COVID-19 cases. Sensex leveled 14 points lower at 50,637 and Nifty increased 10.75 points to 15,208. HDFC Bank was the biggest loser of Sensex, falling 2.02 percent, followed by Axis Bank, Reliance Industries, IndusInd Bank, HDFC and ITC.

Newgen Software Technologies: The IT consulting firm recorded consolidated net profit growth of 27.2 percent last quarter from 52.7 million, compared to net profit of 41.5 million in the previous year.

Berger picture India: The company is expected to announce its earnings for the fourth quarter and fiscal year 2020 today.

Burger King India: The fast food chain will announce its earnings for the fourth quarter and fiscal year 2020 today.

Mahindra Resorts and Resorts: The Board approved the appointment of Sujit Vaidya as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and key management personnel of the company with effect from 1 June 2021.

Godawari power: The company’s board recommended a final dividend of Rs 13.50 per share.
