Healthy, simple ways to increase energy

We could all expend a little more energy. Last year was ….. a lot. At the very least.

Well, as always, I got you.

These tips are all things that really help me increase my energy. These are the things I discovered and the advice I took from interviewing professionals Skinny confidential ON AND ON podcast.

Confidential energy tips to boost energy:

B Wim Hof’s breath:

Wim Hof’s breathing method completely changed my postpartum experience.

Wima Hofa was introduced to me by 2 of my favorite men: Tim Ferriss & Ryan Holiday. It is known as Glacier & set many Guinness World Records for, in fact, being an Iceman.

His body can withstand super cold temperatures and he is the definition of an extreme athlete. He was on ON AND ON podcast not so long ago.

Wim ran marathons barefoot and shirtless near the Arctic Circle, swam under ice at the North Pole and sat in ice baths for 1.5 hours. He says that what led him through these achievements was his practice of breathing.

As my research on Wim went on, I discovered that his wife committed suicide after a long depression and Wim developed this meditation to help people live happier, healthier and stronger. What he ended up with is a method that has incredible advantages.

Oh, & Gwyneth Paltrow is also a big fan. So much so that Wim is shown in the 2nd episode Goop lab on Netflix.

Anyway, let’s go now …

How to do the Wim Hof method:

First, find a comfortable place to sit. Lately my favorite places are somewhere in nature or in front of Joovv red light (the founders were on podcast and this must be listened to). So sit back, relax and follow Wim’s method YouTube which is about 10 minutes long.

Take 30 quick deep breaths, inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth. Then take a deep breath and exhale as much as you can until you need to inhale again. Inhale again, hold for 10 seconds and repeat.

It may sound confusing, but look his video for details. It’s extremely easy to follow when you’re doing it with him and seriously, it’s CHANGING MY LIFE.

♡ Freezing of cold showers:

Here’s a real cherry on top … the second you’re done with your breath, jump into the icy fucking cold shower for 3 minutes. Personally, I like to listen The Daily Stoic podcast Ryan Holiday while I do this because most episodes last 2-4 minutes.

Set the alarm to 3 minutes and scrape your tongue,, dry brush (but it’s not dry because it’s in the shower LOL) and wash it the best ever Eucalyptus body wash accessories.

Afterwards, you will immediately feel rejuvenated from breathing and a cold shower. Wim recommends a cold shower RIGHT after a breath.

Sexing up your water:

You probably already know that I am a big fan of Hydro zucchini and that I love to have sex on the water. Not only does it make you drink more water, but it also gives you extra nutrients and vitamins, depending on what you add.

More plants and fruits means more benefits. Simple. You should know that I like to add too Gangster Chic Brand H2onulin Hydration Multiplier. It is filled with inulin fibers, electrolytes and enters your bloodstream more efficiently than water itself.

My friend Ingrid (founder of Gangster Chic) says so The H20NULIN breakthrough delivery system helps water and key functional ingredients to be absorbed more quickly into the bloodstream. When you drink fluid, it usually passes through the entire digestive system, losing water and other nutrients before your body absorbs them. H20NULIN uses a precise ratio of sodium, calcium, magnesium and potassium to create an osmotic force that allows water and other ingredients to be delivered to the bloodstream earlier in the digestive system. “

Hydration is good for your overall health and energy levels. Otherwise, our bodies are mostly made up of water.

Anyway, here are 3 of my favorite water flies….

♡ Citrus lime
Lemon, lime, mint and ginger (and maybe a charcoal )

♡ Pink drink
Raspberries, lemon and mint.

♡ Spicy pomegranate elixir
Pomegranate seeds, cayenne powder, lime and ginger.

I just throw all this shit in water jug or Hydro zucchini and mix it with ice and water.

♡ Red light therapy and red light bulbs:

Red light therapy is a totally part of my life and I do it all the time. I wake up and do it for 10 minutes while doing my breath (see above). So let’s get into the benefits of red light therapy and how to do it.

What are the benefits of red light therapy?

♡ Safe and well tolerated.

♡ reduces inflammation.

♡ Less muscle pain and pain in exercise.

Treatment natural treatment of pain.

♡ Helps with arthritis and joint pain.

♡ Helps heal wounds and burns.

♡ It can lift your mood and reduce depression.

♡ Helps with bone and tissue injuries. { way }

(I also want to mention that it helped people with hyperpigmentation. Goodbye brown mustache! I need all the help I can get. But seriously, it also shows positive results for people who have vitiligo, eczema and psoriasis.)

Michael, my husband, has a big board with red lights in his office. It’s big, it works, the job is done. Like I said, I’ll stand in front of this for 10 minutes a day, and then we use red light bulbs at night.

Yes, red light bulbs, which you can buy on Amazon, to help us relax at night. They really create this calm atmosphere in the bedroom and lower cortisol (stress hormone) before you go to sleep. Life has really changed.

So why red light therapy then?

Our cells need natural light to function, just as they need water and nutrients from food. Unfortunately, most people don’t have as much natural light as they need for optimal health (the average American spends over 90% of their time indoors). Red light therapy allows you to supplement the light you get from your environment with concentrated wavelengths of red and near infrared light at home.

Red light therapy works by increasing your energy production at the cellular level. Healthy, natural light stimulates the mitochondria, the main element of the cell, and enhances the cellular process of respiration that makes ATP (adenosine triphosphate) energy. People do ATP every day, and it encourages everything we do. The more energy our cells can create, the better our bodies look, heal, feel and work. { way }

Big Joe’s panels are an investment (but Michael and I both think it pays off that way). In addition to all the benefits of red light therapy, it only sets up a relaxing, calm situation. Isn’t that what you need after giving birth?

♡ Grounding:

Going outside, walking and immersing yourself in nature is one of the best things you can do for yourself.

My husband, dogs, and I would take the baby to the stroller (with a huge cup of water, ice, lemon, and cayenne) and just walk around. It was so nice to move my body every morning.

Another great thing is grounding. Sure, it’s kind of like walking, but you have to be barefoot. Submit with me …

Grounding or “grounding,” whatever you want to call it, has absolutely changed the game for me.

First, let’s start with this question: when was the last time you let your bare feet touch real ground? Not your marble or parquet, not your carpet. I’m not even talking about your balcony. Real land – grass, sand, beach. 99% of people can’t even remember.

It is basically a theory of grounding that our body should have as much contact with the ground as possible (as without shoes). Electrons in the form of free radicals (from Wifi) accumulate in us and direct contact with the earth balances this with the opposite effect. In the days it would happen naturally, because we weren’t in shoes … now we have to make it happen … But let’s dive deep.

Let’s learn:

It basically allows your skin to touch the ions of the earth. My absolutely favorite way to do this is by putting my feet in the sand. You should know that I even do this with my daughter. I will take her little legs and arms and make sure they touch the ground as often as I can.

How to ground:

♡ Go outside and dip your feet in grass, sand or dirt.

♡ You can even use ceramic tiles or a concrete floor in your basement if you have one. There simply shouldn’t be any material between you and your feet (e.g. carpet, hardwood, etc.).

Sheet Grounding Sheet. “Every house has a network of ground wires that connects the source of electricity to the ground. This helps to complete the circle using the ground, not the body, so you can touch the TVs, blenders and everything else without closing.

The grounding plug plugs into a regular outlet and connects to the ground wires in your home’s wiring (not to a power source, so don’t worry about being plugged in all night). Because it conducts energy all the way to the ground, you can enter it all night grounding without sleeping in the grass. It is usually made of cotton and fine silver thread for conductivity, so the sheet will deliver negative electrons from the ground to your body and neutralize the positive charges. “( way )

Shoes Grounding shoes actually exist. These are shoes that have some kind of conductive material built into them, so you can grind all day as you step into the steps. In fact, there seem to be a lot of moccasin-style shoes that ‘ground’ outside.

Just remember, these are special shoes, and if there is a tire on your tires, it means they are NOT grounding you.

Matt Ground mat. This would be great to use while working in a way that somehow disconnects the electromagnetic field from your computer, phone, or tablet. You can even get ground mats for your bed so you can get all the amenities while you sleep. Speaking of benefits, let’s get to that.

Advantages of grounding or grounding. (There are tons !!):

Regulates cortisol.

Cortisol is a stress hormone in your body and I almost reduce it. You may have heard me talk about it 1 or 50 times. When your cortisol is regulated, it means that the stressful situation will not affect you for so long. You can recover easily and not feel anxiety for too long after that.

Reed Get rid of free radicals.

You’ve probably heard all about free radicals and how antioxidants neutralize them. Well, grounding also neutralizes them, which means they won’t be there to damage the cells in our body.

No more fighting or running away.

Grounding helps your body move from a stressful sense of struggle or flight to a state of recovery.

More benefits….

♡ Reduces inflammation.

♡ Improves sleep.

♡ Improves immunity.

♡ Reduces some factors of cardiovascular diseases.

♡ Reduces pain.

Accelerates healing time.

It helps with menstrual cramps.

♡ Reduces electric fields induced on the body.

Improves glucose regulation.

♡ Reduces the indicators of osteoporosis.

♡ Reduces anxiety and depression.

Supports adrenal gland health.

♡ & like I said, it can really cure a hangover.

The only technique I’ve ever tried is putting bare feet on the ground – the beach is my favorite. But I would love to try a grounding mat soon.

Trust me and just give it a try. You will feel better. In addition, it is the best remedy for hangovers.

YES! Boost your energy. All you really need is a little care for yourself every day, routines that become habits and will set you up to take on everything in your path.
