0

The Toadstools trail is located between Kanaba, UT and Page, AZ. It is about 45 miles from Kanab and 30 miles from Pag. The top of the trail is marked, but can be easily passed as most people zoom in on the highway.

Trailhead coordinates: 37.1025731, -111.8741036

When you arrive, there is a small car park and admission is free. At the start there is a register of signs and paths.

The Toadstool trail is relatively easy and is about 2.5 km and back. This is followed by washing with uneven feet, but it is suitable for dogs and families. Once you get out of the bathroom, you will see the main Hoodouse Toadstool in front of you. Make a note of where you came from to follow up on proper washing to the parking lot.

When you reach the main, large red toad, you will find yourself in a small canyon. There are other smaller frogs and rocks about 100 feet northeast of the main one, and others cluster at 0.15 miles west.
