The players ’avatars to capture the movement will be part of Sky Sports’ report on The Hundred, while fans in the new 100-ball competition are being treated with revolutionary technology.

Sky and The Hundred have teamed up to give fans an unprecedented digital experience, and the avatars will premiere during Wednesday’s opening game when the Oval Invincibles host Manchester Originals in a women’s match, live on Sky Sports The Hundred (Sky Channel 404) from 6 p.m.

Sky and The Hundred accurately recorded a range of player movements, with avatars improving Skya’s TV coverage and digital platforms, as well as a fan experience in The Hundred app.

The idea is to bring fans closer to players than ever before and allow them to interact with their heroes, as well as make the game more accessible and attract new audiences.

The Sky Sports commentary team will use avatars, including Moeen Ali, Ben Stokes, Heather Knight, Jos Buttler, and even Sky Sports host Andrew Flintoff to recognize name lovers.

The Hundred starts with a women’s match between Oval Invincibles and Manchester Originals on Wednesday at The Kia Oval, with the men’s competition starting a day later at the same venue.

Sky Sports will show live all 68 matches – 34 women’s and 34 men’s – while all women’s matches and a significant number of men’s matches will be broadcast live on YouTube cricket channel Sky.
