The 37-year-old has participated in every IPL season since its inception in 2008. AB de Villiers made comments during his appearance in RCB’s bold diaries after he went to training on April 7.

He was pleased with how his first training session went, but AB de Villiers admitted he had a few things he needed to get just before the first game against the Mumbai Indians.
“We’ve spent a lot of time in the room in the last week, and before that we traveled. It was pretty intense going out. I hit the floor and gave it my maximum. I had fun tonight and I hit the ball. It’s not 100%, so I’ll be back tomorrow a little more, ”de Villiers thought.
IPL 2021 will be the 11th season of AB de Villiers with RCB and he has admitted to enjoying a comeback.
“It’s very pleasant to be here. I am very excited to play another IPL with the RCB guys and I will just have fun this year, ”said de Villiers.

AB de Villiers last came out on the field in IPL 2020, and the explosive striker has not played a single game since the Eliminator’s defeat by Sunrisers Hyderabad. Discussing his training routine for this year’s edition, AB de Villiers revealed that he trained both indoors and outdoors to speed up.
“Yes, I have a lot of sessions in the last six weeks. Enough outdoors and indoors. I mixed it up nicely. If I wanted to work on the recordings, I would go indoors and if I wanted to feel a little outside while nibbling a little, I would spend an hour outdoors, ”concluded AB de Villiers.
Despite the arrival of players like Kyle Jamieson and Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers is still the overseas star of RCB. The 37-year-old was seen holding the pass on the first day of training, and AB de Villiers was able to put on his gloves for RCB again in IPL 2021.
