$He signed a contract with the Eagles in May 2021.

The Eagles continue to add depth behind the upper back Miles Sanders, with Johnson joining such Boston Scott,, Jordan Howard and a fifth-round novice Kenneth Gainwell in the background. Johnson still has youth on his side – his 24th birthday comes only in June – and his problems with efficiency and availability in the last two seasons can mostly be blamed on injuries. Still, facing real competition for a limited amount of deep touches doesn’t bode well for Johnson’s chances of reviving his career in the final year of his rookie contract.
Look at the possibilities of the red zone within the lines of 20, 10 and 5 yards, as well as the percentage of time when they turned the opportunity into a touch.

A look from the past at fantasy
For eight games in the middle of last season, the Lions looked like they had found their new function back in Johnson. Novak amassed 751 yards and four TDs in weeks 3-11, with 5.5 YPCs and 16.1 touches per game in that section before the knee injury ended its season. It has some features no. 1 in the NFL, runs with strength, balance and bursts, and at the same time shows the ability as a receiver, but may not have the frame (206 kilograms) to withstand the punishment that his running style brings the Schedule of 16 games. The move to offensive coordinator from Jim Bob Cooter to Darrell Bevell should still benefit Johnson. Bevell has committed fouls against the Vikings and Seahawks during the examples of Adrian Peterson and Marshawn Lynch, so he has a long history of taking the best out of his hinterland. The Lions have signed CJ Anderson as a reliable veteran reserve in case Johnson breaks down again, but the release of Theo Riddick could free up the job on passing falls. Johnson’s efficiency from last season suggests that he’s a useful belt catcher who doesn’t need a big accelerated load to be productive.
The Lions traded in this year’s draft to the 43rd overall pick to select Johnson in the second round, and one look at the tape from his junior year at Auburn tells you why. The 21-year-old is an explosive runner, hitting holes and coming to the second level before line backs can blink, with excellent balance and an aggressive blade that allows him to pick up heavy yards after contact. Le’Veon Bell’s comparison is undoubtedly ambitious, as he doesn’t exactly have Bell’s otherworldly vision and patience when it comes to finding holes, but Johnson has the potential to shrink. There are concerns about his endurance given his running style and lean frame, but he won’t be asked to take on a massive load right away, while LeGarrette Blount comes from Philadelphia and Theo Riddick still serves as the primary third down and receives back. If Johnson adapts quickly to the NFL, he has the talent to steal touches from both of his veteran teammates.
