This week we received an email from a reader named Maddie: “I’m having trouble finding fun spring dresses that receive a larger bust …”
She writes, “I’m size 8/10, but I have bigger breasts for my shot (32DDD), and it’s hard to find the bright, flattering dress of my dreams (which falls somewhere along the Reformation / Gwyneth matrix that runs around the Italian Riviera in Talented Mr. Ripley). I’m always * so nervous * about support. Now that spring is here both physically and spiritually (the pandemic is no more!), I am on a mission to make my dream dress come true! What styles do you see that could translate for a larger bust? “
Yes, Maddie! We are happy to be able to help! We turned wonderful Katie Sturino – body acceptance lawyer, founder Megababe, and the author of a future book Body Talk – for her shopping advice.
First, Katie recommends finding a dress with a little stretch so that the top can fit comfortably. He also prefers lower necklines, such as a V-neck or a spoon. “Of course, wear a dress with big tits if you want! But I always like to show a little skin, ”she says. In addition, make sure that your décolleté line is not too long. “If the V neck is really deep and you have a cleavage foot, you can be in a place where you won’t get much support.” Katie’s last piece of advice? “You can always buy two sizes and adjust a body part,” she says. “It’s the best way to adapt something to you.”
Here are a few dresses that might fit the price …
Thoughts? What would you add?
