Life tips from your favorite real housewives

0

Recently, Michael and I were lucky enough to sit down with some of our favorite Real Housewives Skinny confidential podcast HIM & HER. I’m a big Housewife fan and Michael pretends not to watch it, but I see his eyes pop out of his head from the corner of the room every time I watch the episode. LOL.

Today I wanted to share with you some tips from Lisa Vanderpump, Meredith Marks and Heather Gay. To be real, they really listen to these episodes, but I wanted to sprinkle some of their tips on the blog as well, because I always want this to be a resource for you.

In this post, you’ll take a little peek into podcast episodes with Lisa, Meredith and Heather.

Life tips from your favorite real housewives:

Lisa Vanderpump

Lisa Vanderpump is an ICON. If you haven’t heard of her, she’s a former star Real housewives from Beverly Hills. We were lucky enough to film her podcast episode at Villa Rosa and it was breathtaking. She told us that her life is so busy with restaurants and businesses that her home must be a refuge.

If you’ve been reading the blog for the last few years, you know I have a strong attitude towards this. That’s the reason I deal with my own meditation station & closed fountain.

Lisa shared some of her tips for creating a beautiful space where you want to be even if you are in a bedroom.

flowers: LOVES flowers, but knows it’s ridiculously expensive. Even if all you can afford are carnations or picking wildflowers or just one rose, flowers can really beautify a space.

lighting: She’s a big fan of lighting, so am I. Just one candle during dinner can change the whole atmosphere. If you are in a small space that doesn’t have a lot of natural light, Lisa suggests placing mirrors near the windows to double the space and create more light.

get out: Especially if you live in a small space and spend a lot of time at the computer, Lisa finds exercising and going outside very important. Not only is exercise important to her, she also loves to passively perform multiple tasks! You already know I’m all this. Answering emails while walking on the treadmill, listening to podcasts on the go are ways to speed up your workout time, but at the same time you are just as effective.

Meredith Marks

Meredith Marks is from Real housewives from Salt Lake City & I have to say I loved the first season.

Meredith went through some obstacles in the show on the show, but she was so stoic and ready for it all. When we were supposed to interview her for a podcast, I really wanted to pick out her brain relationship tips.

try not to let the children focus on you: Meredith & Seth had all the children back to back and the only thing she regrets is the way they shifted their focus from marriage. It’s hard, but it’s important when you have kids to stay in tune with your partner and be aware of what’s going on with each other.

communication is required: So it’s important to really talk and spend one-on-one with your partner. Meredith talks about how she and Seth would be together, but wouldn’t actually be present and focused on each other. Even just half an hour of talking and really paying attention to each other can make a difference in the world.

have a positive mindset: Find bright spots in adversity and focus on the positive, not the negative. It’s important to breathe the air, understand what’s going on, whether it’s in your marriage or business, and understand where people are coming from before you let your emotions take over. Emotion control prevents the situation from becoming vicious and ugly.

Be sure to listen the whole episode where Meredith spills her wellness routine, BTS shooting and beauty, tips and tricks.

Heather Gay

If you looked up “living life on your own terms” in a dictionary, Heather Gay’s face would be there. Heather is another star Housewives from Salt Lake City & her story is impressive.

She came in a podcast to share her story, and in her episode she talks about what it was like to grow up a Mormon, the raw truths of Mormonism, life after divorce, and how to persevere when life throws you the wrong balls.

Heather’s podcast episode is interesting, inspiring and for anyone who wants to create their own path.

Like I said, Lisa, Meredith & HeatherPodcast episodes are so good, so be sure to check them out.
