Lithuanian President Nauseda says Belarus is arming migration as ‘attack on democratic world’

What has been a steady flow of migrants crossing into Lithuania for weeks has recently slowed down. In all, authorities detained and set up makeshift camps for more than 4,100 people, most of whom arrived in July. In early August, Lithuania launched a controversial strategy to return migrants to Belarus, which prevented another 1,300 people from entering, Nauseda said.
