I’m just clarifying the point. We have a prime minister who says that, in his opinion, the state attorney can go back to work, but he will not be able to do some parts of his job because the prime minister accepts a conflict of interest. There is a bigger point, Patricia, and that is that this state prosecutor has a huge cloud over him. This attorney general must determine that he is fit for office, fit for the high office he holds as the first lawyer, and the prime minister seems to be pretending that all this is made to disappear New South Wales the police cannot investigate further.
We had a prime minister today, embarrassingly, pretending at the time that NSW police had fully investigated the matter. They didn’t, and that needs to be clarified, and I think it’s clear to Australians because that’s why Australians are calling for an independent investigation. They know that no investigation has been conducted into these serious allegations.
