We are looking for opportunities that we can provide to our citizens in September and October. Like I said, we can’t expect to live free (as) before an epidemic breaks out until we reach at least 70% of both doses. I was very clear on that, at 80% two doses.
However, if we get those 6 million goals, there are opportunities for us to consider what is safe to do in September and October, and what we cannot do today. And I will emphasize this. Many quarantine provisions in New South Wales are sharper than what we had in other parts of Australia.
People, there are a number of things that people can’t do now, but if there’s a sure way to do that, if people are vaccinated, we’ll consider those options, and that’s what we asked Dr. Chant to give us advice, and that depends about getting those high vaccination rates, and there’s confidence that this thing won’t work.
