Questionable against Aries

September 17, 2021

Pittman (ankle) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against Aries.
ANALYSIS
Pittman was late with the addition of an injury report after being restricted in practice on Friday. He will probably like it and will continue from the outside TY Hilton (neck) still on the side. The 2020 second-round pick played all but two Colts offensive shots in the first week, but had only three catches to show for all that time of play.

Defending opponent’s passes this week

How are Rams ’defensive players different from other NFL teams this season?

The strips represent the team’s percentile rank (based on QB Rating Against). The longer the bar, the better their defense by passing. Team and position group ratings only include players who are currently on the roster, not on the injured reserve. The list of players in the table includes only defenders with at least 3 attempts against them.

Fantasy Outlook 2020

The Colts had some depth in the WR with TY Hilton, Zach Pascal and Parris Campbell, but still took Pittman with the 34th overall pick. At 6-4, 223, Pittman is massive for wide-legged and runs fast for his size of 4.52 40, the specifications are similar to those of Mike Evans of Tampa Bay. Pittman is a good runner on the route and can use his size and ball skill to win balls to jump over an outspoken defensive back. He didn’t do much until the final year, but exploded for 1,275 yards and 11 touchdowns in 13 games for the USC. It’s unclear if Pittman can beat last year’s second division side Campbell and / or Pascal for a role opposite TY Hilton, but he should get a chance whenever the camp opens this summer.
