A few years ago, my friend Liz invited a few ladies to his apartment and I will never forget what happened next …
After we hung out in her living room, eating gooey cheese and crispy baguettes, she ushered us to the dining room table. There was a small piece of paper on each person’s plate. As we looked more closely, we realized that she had written acrostic songs for each of us. If that sounds potentially cheesy or babyish, I’ll tell you: it was SO wonderful.

How nice is that ?! I was really touched. After I got home, I pasted it in our kitchen, where it had been for the past two years. Every time I see it, I feel a wave of love for her and I am so thankful that they see me this way.
Aren’t acrostic songs a wonderful – and easy – idea? Would you do that for your guests? I loved him so much.
