Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain Sanju Samson could get away with just 1 tonight, but remains in 6th place with 124 runs from 3 matches so far. Versatile Moeen Ali of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) climbed to 8th place on the IPL 2021 Orange Cap list. The 33-year-old scored 26 balls with 20 balls tonight and extended his tournament score to 108 runs.

Meanwhile, newcomer RR Chetan Sakariya jumped to 5th place on the IPL 2021 Purple Cap list. After recording 3 to 36 numbers tonight, the left-handed rapper has now scalped 6 goalkeepers with an incredible strike speed of 12 in the season so far. His teammate, Chris Morris, broke through among the top 10 on the IPL 2021 Purple Cap list with 5 goalkeepers in his sword.

The action will now move to Chennai as a DC trumpet with the Mumbai Indians (MI) in Chepauk on Tuesday (April 20th). While Dhawan would strive to increase his lead at the top of the IPL 2021 Orange Cap list, spinner Rahul Chahar would like to get past Harshal Patel.

The combined efforts of the Chennai Super Kings helped them advance to second in the points standings after beating the Rajasthan Royals for 45 races in the 12th match of the 2021 IPL 2021 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Monday (April 19th). RR ranks sixth , with one win from three matches.

After Sanja Samson won the throw and opted for the field first, his bowlers kicked CSK early by removing Ruturaj Gaikwad (10 of 13) and the dangerous-looking Faf du Plessis (33 of 17) within the mandatory field limits.

Although Moeen Ali (26 of 20) and Ambati Rayudu (27 of 17) tried to play a rescue procedure, Chetan Sakariya (3 of 36) lifted three doors in the middle to brake the people in yellow. CSK managed just 147 for 6, when captain MS Dhoni (18 of 17) was sacked in 18. But cameos Sam Curran (13 with 6) and Dwayne Bravo (20 * with 8) led them to 188 for 9.

In response, Jos Buttler and Manan Vohra started RR evenly with a rush of boundaries. But Sam Curran brought CSK back into the game by removing Vohra (14 of 11) and captain Sanja Samson (1 of 5) in powerplay.

Buttler carried out an attack on CSK bowlers by breaking a quick 49 with 35, but Ravindra Jadeja’s peach (2 for 28) delivered him and tilted the match in favor of CSK. 87 for 3 soon became 95 for 7 while off-spinner Moeen Ali went through the middle row of Rajasthan, taking 3 for 7 from three overs.

Although Rahul Tewatia (20 of 15) and Jaydev Unadkat (24 of 17) performed 42 runs for the eighth wicket, RR eventually ran out of balls to finish 9 of his 20 overs on his 143.
