Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with “industry stakeholders” about a “roadmap for stopping the creation of infrastructure in the country”.
Addressing over 200 industry participants at the webinar, including top ministers and government officials, Prime Minister Modi discussed the implementation of budget proposals related to the infrastructure sector.
Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, who was part of the interaction, said in a tweet: “He attended Prime Minister @NarendraModi’s address to the plenary session on the effective implementation of the Union budget 2021-22 in the infrastructure sector.”
“Detailed discussions have been held with industry stakeholders to develop a roadmap for the accelerated creation of infrastructure in the country,” Goyal added.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Road Transport Nitin Gadkari, the Secretary of the Cabinet of PK Sinha, the Chairman of the National Highway of India (NHAI) Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and the Chairman of the Railway Committee Suneet Sharma.

The webinar was attended by more than 200 panelists, including representatives of major financial institutions and funds, concessionaires and suppliers, advisors and experts on the subject.
This was followed by two sessions between senior officials of groups of ministries and experts to compile a list of implemented projects for faster implementation of the budget vision and development of a roadmap for implementation.
