skinny confidential bamboo mat A wooden dream mat of your dreams

Are you ready to fuck off your bathroom?

I’m just talking about a true life-changing bath mat today. That’s right. There is no more awkward carpet / rug for the bathroom where hair and pubs stick to it. Like, no thanks.

From a young age, I had this strong aversion to getting out of the shower and onto a piece of carpet. There is something that really bypasses me in putting a wet foot on random pieces of hair. There is nothing worse. That gives me real heebee-jeebees.

For years and years I found no other option. I would put a towel on the floor, but it still bothered me because I had to wash it every time or the shit got stuck. Once again … .GROSS.

Enter FIX.

Wooden mat of your dreams: say goodbye to crunchy rugs

A bamboo, wooden bathroom mat. We’ll get into that. But as always …. There is a past:

This whole wood obsession of mine started when I moved to Austin, Texas (mail coming soon, but in the meantime you can check this podcast if you want to know why we made the move).

In any case, our house in Austin has become this complete refuge. It’s like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. Our home is zen with tons of wellness stuff, surrounded by nature and space that ultimately greatly reduces my cortisol.

When I was pregnant, I was attracted to everything earthly. Not in a bohemian way, but in a Zen way. And so began my main obsession with wood. The tree just represents the earth (no?) And I wanted everything in our house to feel very ‘with nature’. Seriously, even to the soap dispenser (they are here if you deal with wood like me).

After an hour of searching the internet, I finally found the perfect bathing mat to help me land without my pubes getting my toes stuck. And besides, bamboo mat from your dreams….

Technically, this is not even a bathroom mat. It’s more like a wooden board that can breathe, is easily ventilated (because it’s raised), looks amazing and doesn’t get all the rough.

It sells fast and I understand why. The bathroom is as chic as a dick.

One is placed outside my shower and the other next to my bathtub. It’s so luxurious you’ll be obsessed.

Why you need this bamboo mat:

♡ Not slippery

Water is waterproof (use it for a hot tub or pool if you have one)

Looks look super cute

♡ It is ecological and natural

♡ Holds up to 250 lbs

Bamboo feels grounded because it is not synthetic

Sidenote: If you’re not familiar with grounding, let me get to that quickly.

Sure, it’s kind of like walking, but you have to be barefoot. Submit with me …

Grounding or “grounding,” whatever you want to call it, has absolutely changed the game for me.

First, let’s start with this question: when was the last time you let your bare feet touch real ground? Not your marble or parquet, not your carpet. I’m not even talking about your balcony. Real land – grass, sand, beach. 99% of people can’t even remember.

It is basically a theory of grounding that our body should have as much contact with the ground as possible (as without shoes). Electrons in the form of free radicals (from Wifi) accumulate in us and direct contact with the earth balances this with the opposite effect. In the days it would happen naturally, because we weren’t in shoes … now we have to make it happen … But let’s dive deep.

Let’s learn:

It basically allows your skin to touch the ions of the earth. My absolutely favorite way to do this is by putting my feet in the sand. You should know that I even do this with my daughter. I will take her little legs and arms and make sure they touch the ground as often as I can.

How to ground:
♡ Go outside and dip your feet in grass, sand or dirt.
♡ You can even use ceramic tiles or a concrete floor in your basement if you have one.

There simply shouldn’t be any material between you and your feet (e.g. carpet, hardwood, etc.).

Sheet Grounding Sheet.

“Every house has a network of ground wires that connects the source of electricity to the ground. This helps to complete the circle using the ground, not the body, so you can touch the TVs, blenders and everything else without closing.

The grounding plug plugs into a regular outlet and connects to the ground wires in your home’s wiring (not to the power source, so don’t worry about being plugged in all night). Because it conducts energy all the way to the ground, you can enter it all night grounding without sleeping in the grass. It is usually made of cotton and fine silver thread for conductivity, so the sheet will deliver negative electrons from the ground to your body and neutralize the positive charges. “( way )

Shoes Grounding shoes actually exist.

These are shoes that have some kind of conductive material built into them, so you can grind all day as you step into the steps. In fact, there seem to be a lot of moccasin-style shoes that ‘ground’ outside.

Just remember, these are special shoes, and if there is a tire on your tires, it means they are NOT grounding you.

Matt Ground mat.

This would be great to use while working in a way that somehow disconnects the electromagnetic field from your computer, phone, or tablet. You can even get ground mats for your bed so you can get all the amenities while you sleep. Speaking of benefits, let’s get to that.

Advantages of grounding or grounding. (There are tons !!):

Regulates cortisol.

Cortisol is a stress hormone in your body and I almost reduce it. You may have heard me talk about it 1 or 50 times. When your cortisol is regulated, it means that the stressful situation will not affect you for so long. You can recover easily and not feel anxiety for too long after that.

Reed Get rid of free radicals.

You’ve probably heard all about free radicals and how antioxidants neutralize them. Well, grounding also neutralizes them, which means they won’t be there to damage the cells in our body.

No more fighting or running away.

Grounding helps your body move from a stressful sense of struggle or flight to a state of recovery.

More benefits….

♡ Reduces inflammation.

♡ Improves sleep.

♡ Improves immunity.

♡ Reduces some factors of cardiovascular diseases.

♡ Reduces pain.

Accelerates healing time.

It helps with menstrual cramps.

♡ Reduces electric fields induced on the body.

Improves glucose regulation.

♡ Reduces the indicators of osteoporosis.

♡ Reduces anxiety and depression.

Supports adrenal gland health.

♡ & like I said, it can really cure a hangover.

The only technique I’ve ever tried is putting bare feet on the ground – the beach is my favorite. But I would love to try a grounding mat soon.

Trust me and just give it a try. You will feel better. In addition, it is the best remedy for hangovers.

Okay, back to the wooden rug.

It is easy to clean, does not gather hair and honestly, can go anywhere in your house. It reminds me of some outdoor bathroom in Japan.

It’s the perfect thing I’d step on when I get out of the tub. Just turn on the Japanese garden music, dim the lights, turn on your own salt lamp, light a little Candles Brooklyn Candle Studio Palo Santo, enjoy eucalyptus shower or bath, then finish grounding on your chic, bamboo, wooden bathroom mat.

Although this wooden mat can be used outdoors, try to keep it a little dry so that it lasts longer. It will prolong his life.

People are obsessed, there are over 1,200 5 star reviews and I would have to agree.

Can’t you just imagine this wooden bathroom mat and a couple of them plush slippers are you waiting to get out of the tub?

Say goodbye to nasty bath mats and welcome your new wooden situation to the tub.

I hope you like it.

x, lauryn
