Sky Sports has announced the details of its new generation of boxing coverage following an agreement with promotional companies Top Rank and BOXXER, revealing the first fights in the new boxing schedule and fresh fight formats.

The first British event of the new partnership with BOXXER takes place on Saturday, October 2, when Wasserman boxing athlete Chris Eubank Jr. meets Sven Elbir at London’s SSE ARENA, Wembley. They are on top of a stacked map showing David Avanesyan defending his European Championship against Britain’s Liam Taylor, undefeated since 2015, and heavyweight contender Richard Riakporhe, returning from injury layoffs to return in search of a world title.

Two weeks later, on Saturday, October 16, Hughie Fury seeks to solidify his position in the world’s top 10 heavyweight division when he faces rough Christian Hammer on a map with WBO champion Savannah Marshall and hugely popular Newcastle fan favorite Lewis Ritson in Utility. Arena, Newcastle.

Undisputed super-lightweight world champion Josh “The Tartan Tornado” Taylor will defend his crown against WBO No. 1 candidate Jack ‘El Gato’ Catterall on Saturday, December 18 from SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland, live on Sky Sports and exclusively in streaming the United States on ESPN +.

After 30 years in boxing, Sky Sports Boxing is starting a new chapter with Top Rank and BOXXER, with an exciting mix of elite and new fighters for Sky Sports boxing fans.

Fighting fans can also look forward to fights such as WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford, Vasily Lomachenko, unique world lightweight champion Teófim López, united banter champion Naoya Inoue, WBO super featherweight champion Jamel Herring and Shakur Stekur.

What’s more, Sky will feature some of the best boxers in its new reporting, including a showdown in the super-featherweight title showdown between Mikaela Mayer and Top-ranked Maive Hamadouche. In addition, Olympian Caroline Dubois, an upcoming star fresh from her feats in Tokyo, is also joining the ranks of the BOXXER, along with WBO middleweight champion Savannah Marshall and unique two-time champion Claress Shields. Claressa will be fighting for Sky Sports in the UK, following an agreement with Salita Promotions on fights on Boxxer shows.

In addition to the new list of names, two-time unique world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is set to fight Oleksandr Usyk at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sept. 25, live at the Sky Sports box office.

A four-year U.S. sales deal with Top Rank gives Sky Sports access to the current U.S. promoter’s barn of nine of the 18 best fighters for the pound and at least 18 U.S. fight nights, while through a four-year promotional deal with BOXXER, Sky Sports plans to showcase 14 UK fights, plus Pay-Per-View fights and new formats.
