The government’s Covid-19 working group announced on Friday (May 14th) that people will be able to gather in groups until two on May 16th. That’s less than the current five.
The daily limit of five different visitors per household will also be reduced to two different visitors per day.
“Individuals should continue to limit their total number of social gatherings to a maximum of two per day, whether it is another household or a meeting with friends and family members in a public place,” the health ministry said.
Furthermore, no one will be allowed to dine at food and beverage outlets, including shopping malls and cafes. Catering facilities, both indoors and outdoors, can only be offered to take away and deliver.

Working from home will also remain the default. Employers must ensure that this is done by employees who can work from home, and social gatherings in the workplace will not be allowed.
Meal breaks can be taken in the workplace, but staff should refrain from mixing with their colleagues when their masks are removed.
Wedding banquets will have to stop, but for those who have wedding plans this week a special arrangement can be made. They can continue, but with mandatory testing of all guests before the event.
Other activities that will also not be allowed include strenuous indoor exercise classes or strenuous individual and group sports activities and indoor exercise.
