They must have items to travel with the baby

We’re back for the second part of our Cabo series.

If you missed Part 1 which completely shattered my clothes, be sure to check it out here.

There were so many mmmmm, say ‘unique’ things (LOL) that happened on this trip when it came to traveling with a baby, so I decided to dedicate the entire post to things that can make it easier.

A small statement of disclaimer: I AM NOT AN EXPERT !! That’s exactly what I do. Don’t listen to me because I know stupid shit. I just share what suits us. Now that it doesn’t matter, let’s get to it.

MUST HAVE ITEMS TO TRAVEL WITH THE BABY:

With a Sippy cup

This is such a good cup & I keep giving it to Zazi because it doesn’t spill all over my diaper bag. It’s only $ 6, and she can drink from it from any angle, because she has weight at the end of the straw. There is also a thing with a straw hood / lid that is key to avoiding germs and leaks.

It’s lightweight, babies hold it easily, and Zaza has a bright pink color so it’s easy to find in the depths of my diaper bag (if you’re a mom, you know what I’m talking about).

We like to give her juice, water or coconut milk, there is no BPA and you can put it in the top shelf of your dishwasher (we also use a straw cleaner).

If you are in a ‘mom and me’ situation, you can always get your child a suitable hydro flask. Zaza has pink with a straw cap & a silicone sleeve that protects the bottom when dropped a million times a day.

Ffs Serenity Kids bone from bone broth

These leafy snacks are with me constantly. I literally don’t go for a quick walk without them. I mean, if these aren’t with us, forget it. Zaza loves them. Her favorites are those of broccoli and spinach.

They are salty, not sweet, so they have 0 grams of sugar, are made from bone broth and olive oil and organic dehydrated broccoli, spinach, kale, parsley, lemon, thyme, garlic, onion and rosemary.

You should know that there is NO filler (like rice and wheat) that your baby’s little tummy can digest.

If you’ve never heard of it Serenity Kids, specialize in super quality baby food. All their ingredients are of ethical origin, the vegetables are 100% organic and full of healthy fats. Their focus is on nutrient density, regenerative agriculture, and all of their packaging is environmentally friendly. And take this … they’ll even send you an envelope with postage paid, so you can send back used bags to recycle for you. It just doesn’t get any better than that.

Serenity Carr, founder of Serenity Kids, arrived on the blog shortly before, where she shared all of her child preparation tips. Definitely see here.

♡ A LOT of snacks

We pack a lot of other snacks like blueberries, cucumbers, watermelons, avocados and tangerines, but specifically I always like to have It’s an apple snack. Zaza thinks these are treats, but they actually contain only one thing: an organic apple.

Do yourself a favor and pack yourself a few extra bags because I bet you can’t stop eating them.

♡ Download some shows

Judge far, judge far. The king of lions on my burner the phone has been saving the day lately. (I have 2 phones, one for work and one for gaming, and two save my ass in no time).

Hilary, who is on my team, swears Storybots on Netflix for his son. He loves it, and it has greatly expanded his vocabulary. So next time we fly, I’ll take it for Zaza.

♡ Specific playlist

Zaza loves Bossa nova (shocker), but I also have a special playlist I made for her, full of Disney songs and French lullabies. She has been listening to this playlist since she was a child, so she naturally calms it down almost instantly.

Her absolute favorites are the songs with Pinocchio though. When you want a star & I don’t have wires are her two favorites.

Even songs you wouldn’t expect Pinocchio soundtrack, those without words, are really good. Invited Clock sequence,, The Kitten Theme & Blue villa they are really beautiful background songs. It just reminds you of going to Disneyland with Dole Whip, extra big pickles and corn dogs, you know? It gives you all the nostalgic feelings.

♡ Be cool – it’s just another day

When we travel, we try to keep the atmosphere calm and don’t give the whole temptation too much energy. We act like “it’s just another day!”

We try to make our vibration light and airy and it helps when I am very stoic with it. She feeds on my energy, so if I go crazy, she goes crazy.

♡ Other basic things:

+ water wipes

+ diapers (God, BE SURE you remember the diaper)

+ markers and coloring books without any problems

+ plastic bag (if there is a cracking situation, leftover food, dirty wipes or dirty silicone tiles, throw it all in a plastic bag to fix it later. BELIEVE ME you don’t want a banana peel and a stuffed pigeon floating around your diaper bag)

In the end, the preparation is KEY. Man, it really saves your life when it comes to traveling with a baby.

If all else fails, head to the bathroom to ‘fix your makeup’ and let everyone else have fun. Let’s be honest: traveling with a baby is no joke.

Please share all your hacks when it comes to anything regarding babies. I need all the help I can get.
