Last night my friend Kath (from cresucular fame) and we flipped through some old photos of us in our twenties at parties short dresses and black leggings.
“We didn’t appreciate what we looked like when we were younger,” she said. “We were too busy lamenting.”
(Remember that quote from Nora Ephron? “Oh, how sorry I wasn’t to wear a bikini all year when I was 26.”)
She was right, we didn’t appreciate it then. But I was thinking too, now we don’t appreciate that! One day we will remember these days and we would love to have.
After all, people are beautiful. We have sparkling eyes and curved ears like little shells. We have lovely toes and round bellies and two legs that carry us around. We have tattoos i lipstick i smile i wheelchair. And beauty gets deeper with age. For me, he is the brightest person in the world a woman with gray hair with wrinkled hands and teary eyes.
So I would like to ask: What do you like in your appearance? I would say they are fighting around my eyes. (And if you want to send a recording to [email protected], we could even make it reader review🙂
